The Jones and Company blob top bottle has become one the hardest to find. The only known specimen was dug at Maddox Park. The bottle is teal green and has changed hands three times to be in the collection of fellow members' Newton Crouch of Griffin, Georgia.

It was thought that Jones and Company ( John A. Jones of Polk County, John Jones Junior, and J. E. Klienert) located at 20 Marietta Street were bottlers of soda water, but a research of a 1872 Atlanta City Directory said the company started in late 1871 as a whiskey company. A later directory list their trade in the whiskey and beer business and does not indicate a soda water trade connection in any directory to 1885 when the business was sold. We can conclude that their blob top bottles held beer. Which in no way devalues or changes it's status as Atlanta's rarest blob top.
